Believe it or not, a computer specifically designed for Amish settlements existed. Deskmate’s word processor does not support video or audio playback or Internet access. Computers allow you to perform basic word processing and spreadsheet tasks. Amish traditions would not be broken by the Deskmate because some (but not all) Amish employ technology that can only be used in industry.
