Melissa “Missy” Franklin
Melissa Jeanette Franklin, who is more commonly known as Missy Franklin, is a former professional swimmer who had a great run in the swimming industry. She used to break and hold a lot of records. She also has several medals from different competitions and five of them came from the Olympic Games. Competing in the 2012 Summer Olympics was her very first to join such a big sporting event. She was so nervous and everything was new to her, yet she still managed to take four medals home from different categories. She got her last Olympic medal in the next Olympic Games she participated in which was the 2016 Summer Olympics. In the middle of December 2018, she made a surprising announcement saying that she would not compete in any leagues and sporting events anymore – she was about to retire already.

Janet Beth Evans
Janet Beth Evans is a retired competitive swimmer. She used to be famous for her unusual ways and techniques in swimming. Some people said that her techniques looked weird, but those were the ones who made her win several medals in the Olympics. In the 1988 Summer Olympics that was held in Seoul, she managed to win three medals – one coming from Women’s 800 Metre Freestyle, another from the Women’s 400 Metre Freestyle, and one from the Women’s 400 Metre Individual Medley. With her participation in the next Olympic Games which was the 1992 Summer Olympics that took place in Barcelona, she was able to win two medals – from Women’s 400 Metre Freestyle and Women’s 800 Metre Freestyle. In the middle of 2004, she got married to Bill Wilson and eventually gave birth to their first daughter, Sydney Wilson. Janet also starred in different films and TV shows such as Celebrity Circus, Showcase ’68, and Marathon
