Strange Looks
Ashley Rosha, a student at the time, took Greg’s request to heart and decided to spend her time with him in order to teach him the fundamentals of the English language. If you could travel back in time and look for Greg, he would most likely be in the salon, practicing braids, buns, and ponytails, as he was at the time. Greg cherishes those memories, and he recalls that he received quite a few funny looks from other clients at the salon during those occasions. The fact that he was driven to perfect the styling proved that nothing could stand in his way on his journey. With each passing day, his knowledge and expertise improved, and he became increasingly adept at his profession.

Simple but Complex
Greg discovered that, despite the fact that a haircut appears to be quite hard, it might actually be rather simple to do. He discovered this while experimenting with different styles on a mannequin and was surprised by how simple some of the designs were to create. According to Greg in an interview, “It completely blew my mind how simple it was to make a bun. Especially the one when you don’t finish pulling the ponytail, I thought that was something very special, like extremely detailed. I thought to myself, Oh my God, that’s so beautiful for something so simple… I don’t believe many men are aware of how straightforward it is.”
