Dante Alighieri wrote The Divine Comedy and thought to be one of the most influential poets in Italy in the Late Middle Ages. The epic poem described the aspects of Heaven and Hell, many of which are now considered canon in Christianity. He is also a respected philosopher whose ideas remain relevant. He passed away in 1321 at the age of 56.

It was created by taking precise measurements of the skull they found in 1920. However, it showed that he had bigger eyes, a more rounded jaw, and a softer facial expression than his face in the portraits.
