Nicolaus Copernicus
Born in 1473, Nicolaus Copernicus was the person who cleared things up when everyone else thought the Earth was the center of the universe. He created a model of a universe that revolved around the sun, which is still used to this day! Originally from Poland, he lived in different places in Europe. Sadly, it seems like humanity has regressed once more with people thinking he was wrong.

After all, this was the man who opened our eyes to something so incredibly important. Even in this new depiction, he still looks a little miserable.
