Richard III

King Richard III was the ruler of England from 1483 to 1485. It was a short time, but it was enough for him to earn a less than stellar reputation. He was branded a tyrant in the Shakespeare play. The Tudors came to replace him. During the Battle of Bosworth in 1485, he charged into the army of Henry Tudor. Unfortunately, it resulted in their defeat.

What Richard III Really Looked Like

In 2012, it finally became possible to recreate the image of Richard III because his body has not been found after his death. Researchers went through clues and found the body beneath an underground parking lot! They exhumed it before a team from Dundee University created this image to figure out what he looked like.
