While some of the most impressive classics in the ’30s came from French design studios, by the early ’80s the French had lost their touch. Clearly, the Renault Fuego was a sad attempt at a sports coupe. As with many ugly cars, the more you look at it, the uglier it gets.

Pontiac Aztek
This car has become somewhat of a favorite among ugly cars due to its unfortunate exterior. The Pontiac Aztek’s design looks as if it was put together reluctantly by three designers who weren’t on speaking terms. It has too many different elements that just don’t work together.
