Hollywood Sign: Los Angeles, California
Since Hollywood is so well-known across the world for its film production, visitors from all over the world travel to California to get a glimpse of the iconic Hollywood sign in person. Even though some people may be tempted to touch the sign, doing so is currently against the law. Yet, this overhyped spot that attracts tourists is interesting to see from a distance, particularly when it comes to the photographic opportunities it presents. Even though the Hollywood Walk of Fame and the Hollywood sign are both overrated attractions in the city, the Walk of Fame is preferable since it allows visitors to come up close to the brass stars that are embedded in the walkways. If you happen to find yourself in Los Angeles, the most efficient method for you to maximize your time there and get the most out of the city is to visit restaurants, retail shops, and museums.
Waikiki Beach: Oahu, Hawaii
The island chain that we know as Hawaii is a tropical paradise that doesn’t have many drawbacks. Yet Waikiki Beach is one of those locales that was created with the express purpose of catering to tourists. Waikiki Beach is essentially a stretch of hotels, high-priced boutiques, and chain restaurants, all of which are adjacent to a packed beachfront. When compared to the rest of Hawaii, Waikiki Beach is more like other tourism destinations in the United States of America. Let’s say, however, if you are interested in having a vacation that is more true to the Hawaiian culture. If this is the case, it is recommended that you go to locations that highlight the natural beauty of the island, such as the Pipiwai Trail in Maui or the Lanai Lookout, which is situated on Oahu and is not too far away from Waikiki Beach.
