Jane Lynch – Softball and Basketball
Jane Lynch is best known for playing Sue Sylvester on the successful musical television show “Glee.” Her performance got her a nomination for a Primetime Emmy. She has also appeared in films that have been both commercially and critically successful. “A Mighty Wind,” “Two and a Half Men,” and “The 40-Year-Old Virgin” are among them. Lynch talks about her life and admits to being a Chicago Cubs fan. She was discovered to be a sports fan as well. She told Newnownext that she was a high school athlete who played softball and basketball. She also admitted that she didn’t like basketball and was just recruited for her height.
Sheryl Crow – Track and Field
Sheryl Crow is the singer-songwriter behind hits like “All I Wanna Do,” “Everyday Is a Winding Road,” and “If It Makes You Happy,” among others. Her musical influence is well known for blending rock, pop, country, folk, and blues components. Crow was a standout athlete in college before getting into the industry. At Kennett High School, she was a majorette and all-state track athlete, winning a gold medal in the 75-meter low hurdles. Despite the fact that it did not go through, she continues to run for charities. Crow has also starred on television shows such as “30 Rock” and “One Tree Hill.”
