Tessa Virtue
Tessa Jane McCormick Virtue, or simply Tessa Virtue, is a former competitive ice dancer. Ever since she started competing, she had always dominated with the company of her partner, Scott Moir. As a team, they managed to bag a total of three Olympic medals in their entire career. The first Olympic medal Tessa got was a gold one coming from the 2010 Winter Olympics. The next one was a silver medal coming from the 2014 Winter Olympics. The next and last medal was a gold one that she snatched at the 2018 Winter Olympics. A year after that, Tessa Virtue announced her retirement. She starred in a film and a TV show – Ice Girls and Tessa & Scott.
Scott Moir
Scott Patrick Moir is a former competitive ice dancer who had Tessa Virtue as his partner. The pair managed to win tons of medals in different skating competitions and three of them came from the Olympic Games – gold from the 2010 Winter Olympics, a silver medal from the 2014 Winter Olympics, and another gold from the 2018 WInter Olympics. The pair is the longest-standing ice dance team in the entire Canadian history. They starred in a TV show Tessa Scott – you might want to check it out. However, in the middle of 2019, the whole world was surprised and saddened by their announcement regarding their retirement.
