Sasha Cohen
Alexandra Pauline Cohen, who is more commonly known as Sasha Cohen, is a retired figure skater. In an interview, she shared that figure skating was not the first sport she got herself into, she said that she trained as a gymnast first before actually training as a skater at the age of seven. She managed to win her first and unfortunately, her last Olympic medal in the 2006 Winter Olympics that were held in Piedmont, Italy. It was not the only medal that she got in her entire skating career, though – she got several medals from other competitions such as World Championships. After her retirement, she tried to establish a career in the acting industry that was why she starred in various films and TV shows such as Blades of Glory, Bratz: The Movie, and Moondance Alexander. Now living in her mid-30s, she is currently working as a finance associate.
Tara Lipinski
Tara Kristen Lipinski is a retired professional swimmer. She used to be well-known as the young 14-year-old girl who won the title as the World Figure Skating Champion in 1997. She bagged the gold medal from the Figure Skating – Women’s Singles at the 1998 Winter Olympics that took place in Japan. After her retirement, she joined the entertainment industry that made her star in several films and TV shows such as Wedding Cake Champion, Ice Angel, Metro Chase, and Kidding. She also explored the entertainment world as a sports commentator. In the middle of 2017, she got married to Todd Kapostasy and until now, they are happily married and living together.
