Pastel Colors
Joyce told the media that she loved decorating with tone on tone colors, like dark pink under light pink. From looking at the home, it looks like her favorite colors to decorate with were shades of blue, pink, and purple. Joyce decorated the home herself, and she took so much time and energy to make sure everything looked perfect. Even the toilet seat covers matched!

The house has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, both of which have completely carpeted floors and completely 1940s-style wallpaper. Not only this, but the wallpaper was metallic, and the furniture had gold finishings; this is how you know it was antique. Another plus was that the fireplaces were still working well, which Torontonians took very seriously with their harsh winters. Each room came with its own color scheme, and somehow it all meshed together perfectly.
