JULIE GIBSON, 105 YEARS OLD
Born in Washington, Julie Gibson is known for her beautiful singing and wonderful acting back in the 1940s. Beginning her career singing with the Jimmie Grier Orchestra, she later joined the cast of Joe Penner’s radio show. Her first film roles were rather small, but over time she worked her way up to starring in movies like Chick Carter and Detective. As her career progressed she took on more roles in various kinds of movies as well as working abroad. Nowadays, Julie is actually the oldest performer from the ‘Golden Age’ who’s still alive.
