Marlon Brando is undoubtedly one of the biggest actors in the industry, though he has a reputation for being hard to work with.

The actor is well-known for preferring method acting and it sometimes came to a point where he used the character’s mannerisms off-screen. Apparently, he completely refused to learn many of his lines in Apocalypse Now and this is why he improvised about 18 minutes of dialogue as Colonel Kurtz.
