Team Africa
In August 2015, Giannis was part of Team Africa in an NBA Exhibition against Team World. It was played at the Ellis Park Arena in Johannesburg, South Africa. Team Africa consisted of NBA players and alumni that were either born or had parents from Africa. Team Africa lost the game by a score of 97-101, with Giannis scoring 22 points.

Extended Contract
In October 2015, the Bucks exercised their 4th-year team options on Giannis’ rookie scale contract. Meaning that they extended it by another year. In those two years with the Bucks, he had played in 158 games and averaged 9.8 points with 5.6 rebounds, making him the youngest Bucks in history to gain over 1,000 points.
