This was an error of judgment on their part. As you can see, Steph Curry is really religious. He and his wife Ayesha even met at the church where his family went back when they were teens. They were also part of the same youth group and later got married there. If you watch Steph on the court, you will notice that he taps his chest and points to the sky after every single shot that he makes. He explained that it means “have a heart for God.” His beliefs keep him grounded and remind him of where he got his strength in the first place!
