He started to practice obsessively to improve his skills. He also got an unexpected growth spurt that shot him up by four inches.

Making A Name For Himself
When he was a junior and senior, Michael Jordan had been averaging 25 points in a game. His final season took him to the McDonald’s All-American Team. As you can imagine, colleges queued up to recruit the talented young man. In the end, he accepted a scholarship offer from the University of North Carolina. During the first year of college, the team won the National Championship! Michael Jordan had been the one to make the game-winning shot. He played for three seasons and entered the NBA in 1984. The Chicago Bulls drafted him as the third overall pick. The rest is history.
