After finding the note that the young state trooper left, Matthew was thrilled that Michael decided to reach out. At the time, he really regretted not exchanging any contact information. He found Michael’s phone number on the note and called him to arrange a meeting. Matthew and his wife asked Michael and his entire family to have lunch with them! It seems like everyone hoped to celebrate together.

If you ask us, it definitely sounds like destiny played a hand in bringing the two of them together. We cannot think of any other explanation that works. They were glad that they were reunited after all these years. What made it even more special was that the reunion happened elsewhere. However, the young police officer was not yet satisfied. After all, they barely got to spend any time together.
