Did you know that Celine is the recipient of the highest honor in Quebec? Yes, she was awarded the National Order of Quebec in addition to having stars on both the Hollywood and Canada Walks of Fame. She was also granted an honorary doctorate courtesy of the Laval University even though she never finished high school. Isn’t that great? She called it “a very great honor for a little girl from Charlemagne.”

Two years before Celine was born, the French musical artist Hugues Aufray came out with the song titled “Celine.” At the age of 5, Celine performed the same song during the wedding of her older brother. As fate would have it, this proved to be her breakthrough performance. She might have come from a musical family, though this moment made it clear that she was truly talented.
