Nancy, believe it or not, does not consider herself to have accomplished much in her life. A fellow church member received a kidney from a buddy who had donated it many years before. Nancy’s choice to assist Darreld was motivated by the fact that she witnessed an act of kindness become a crucial component of her friend’s life path. Nancy believed that giving one of her kidneys would be an act of selfless service, and she believes that others should do the same whenever feasible. It’s fascinating how heroic acts motivate others to undertake even more noble acts.
