Another interesting characteristic is the Amish’s aversion to evangelism. In the past, they’ve been known to keep non-members out and isolate themselves from the rest of society. As a result, it comes as no surprise that the Amish are unwilling to accept new members. The Amish’s most enthusiastic supporters, on the other hand, are unable to join the religion.
