He Was The Godfather Of Actor Tom Burke
Alan Rickman may not have had any children with Rima Horton during their decades-long relationship, but in some ways, he was still a father. Rickman was chosen to be the English actor Tom Burke’s godfather. Rickman knew Burke’s parents, who were actors themselves. Just like his godfather, Burke has worked on stage and on screen. In 2008, he took on the role of Adolph in Rickman’s film Creditors, for which Burke received an Ian Charleston Award.
