Awesome Car Shows To Watch On Netflix

For those of us who can’t get enough of cars, there seems to be almost a shortage of shows for us to watch in general. Whether you prefer watching racing cars, building cars, or luxury cars, we’ve looked through all Netflix has to offer to find the best options. When you’re looking for a good car-centric show to relax to, check out these great car shows available on Netflix:

Rust Valley Restorers

Rust Bros is a restoration car compound that’s located in the Rocky Mountain foothills in Canada. It’s run by a team of funny and charismatic men – Mike Hall, Avery Shoaf, and Mike’s son, Connor. The team uses its expertise to restore, trade, and sell classic cars. They have the ability to completely transform a car that looks like a pile of rust into a collectible and rare car treasure.

Car Masters: Rust to Riches

This show gained a large following in a relatively short amount of time. For two seasons, viewers have been able to follow the unique Gotham Garage crew while they work on an overhaul of cars and trucks that they trade for big money. Gotham Garage originally created a number of movie props and TV shows – that’s what makes the crew so talented and skilled in many different areas. The garage team is led by Mark Towle while it makes over classic cars and gives them a modern twist in order to raise their value and make large profits. Every episode takes on one project so viewers can follow it for one episode and see the entire process unfold from start to finish.

Hyperdrive

This auto racing show was produced by Aaron Catling and Charlize Theron, who decided to release this documentarian, non-scripted show in 2019. The show consists of a series of tournaments that includes drivers from around the world who compete on one of the largest automotive obstacle courses ever created. With 28 drifting drivers who compete against one another, they need to safely pass through obstacles while performing maneuvers on the custom-made course. By the end of the season, six competitors remain, and whoever outlasts the rest is deemed the champion.

Fastest Car

This reality show focuses on drivers who own exotic supercars that go up against sleeper cars – cars with unassuming exteriors but are high-performance – in a quarter-mile drag race. This show is actually Netflix’s first global automotive series and was created by Scott Weintrob.

West Coast Customs

West Coast Customs is an automotive repair shop that focuses on customizing cars. Started by co-founded Ryan Friedlinghaus and Quinton Dodson in 1994, the show didn’t start until 2013. Ever since then, the company has taken off and has been flourishing. Celebrities like P.Diddy and Shaquille O’Neal have visited the shop. Not to mention, it was the previous location for the popular MTV shows, Pimp My Ride and Street Customs. In fact, the shop has been deemed as the best custom car shop in the country.

Formula 1: Drive to Survive

This is not a reality show, but it’s a sports documentary that follows the FIA Formula One World Championships across two seasons so far. The show isn’t only for car fans, it’s for anyone who loves some excitement and adventure. Viewers also get to know the drivers behind the wheels, their cars, what happens behind the scenes, and everything in between.
